Adolescent Girls Group

A group for girls ages 14 to 17 who would like to improve social skills as well as fostering healthy relationships. Common focuses in this group include: the struggles associated with school, family, social interactions, peers, and anxiety.


Separation and Divorce Group

A group for men and women who are going through divorce and separation and are looking for some additional support during and after the process. Group members provide support and guidance to one another so members know they are not alone. Focuses include the familial, social, and economic aspects of divorce.


Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Groups for Adolescents and Young Adults

​DBT is a comprehensive treatment, which is focused on treating the symptoms which prevent  leading a life worth living.   DBT teaches patients valuable skills to decrease life-threatening and self-injurious behaviors, decrease therapy-interfering behaviors, decrease quality of life interfering behaviors and increase coping skills.  This is accomplished through teaching teens and young adults the skills of mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal skills.


Parenting Skills and Support Group

This group is designed to provide skills and support for parents and families dealing with children who display noncompliant, defiant, oppositional, stubborn, or socially hostile behavior.   Parents will learn management skills and competence in dealing with their children, increase their knowledge of the sources of childhood defiant behaviors, improve child compliance, and reduce parent-child conflicts and parenting stress.
